PDM DEPOK, JAKARTA – Media sosial, meskipun sifatnya artifisial sebagai alat bantu, tapi menguasai seluruh pola komunikasi manusia hari ini. Hampir tidak ada orang yang tidak menggenggam gawai dan memiliki akun media sosial. Begitu pun dengan warga Muhammadiyah di semua lapisan. Pendek kata, gawai dan media sosial sudah seperti napas hidup.
Makroen Sanjaya, Wakil Ketua Majelis Pustaka dan Informasi PP Muhammadiyah dalam presentasinya pada acara Pandu Digital Kemenkominfo-MPI PP Muhammadiyah, Sabtu, 26/8 di Ruang Pertemuan Masjid At-Tanwir PP Muhammadiyah memandang perlu adanya “Kesalihan Digital di Media Sosial”, semacam etik agar warga Muhammadiyah cerdas, arif, dan selamat dalam memanfaatkan media sosial.
Makroen yang juga Direktur TVMu ini menekankan urgensi membangun kesalihan digital. “Kesalihan digital ini sangat mendesak dibangun, sebab arus informasi digital menciptakan krisis keadaban dan erosi moralitas di samping pengaruh hidup yang serba instan dan over-dosis internet”.
Hoaks merupakan konten yang disoroti Makroen. Ada tips sederhana dari dosen Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta ini. “Berhenti di kita dulu, jangan langsung disebarkan”, katanya saat menjawab pertanyaan salah satu peserta. “Bila perlu, tabayyun dulu untuk memastikan kebenaran sebuah informasi.”
Sebagai sebuah teknologi, media sosial harus dikemas dengan akhlak yang baik. Warga Muhammadiyah perlu memperhatikan akhlak dalam bermedia sosial. Di antaranya, isi medsos dengan muatan akhlakul karimah, amar ma’ruf nahi munkar, sebarkan konten positif, jadikan sebagai wahana silaturahim, sebarkan konten yang mencerahkan, dan jadikan sebagai sarana untuk saling mengingatkan, sosialisasi, dan pertemanan.
